Debbie Peters is a registered Calmbirth® educator, who commenced her practice on Waiheke Island, after she had used the techniques for her daughter's birth. She has spent 7 years teaching in Australia and returned in 2015 to New Zealand. Just over half the women she works with are for their 2nd or 3rd birth.
Calmbirth® is a 12-hour antenatal course. It is best to do the class some time between 20 - 36 weeks, so you have time to practice and consolidate what you learn. The course goes over one weekend and includes both days: 9am – 4.30pm.
Bring your lunch or visit the local cafes. Morning tea and snacks provided.
The venue is Royal Oak.
It is close to the big roundabout at the site of CCS Disability Action where there is the;

You receive a class booklet and USB at the end of the weekend. The cost is $395 and you are welcome to bring your birth companion. Group size is limited. Please book early.
Please either pay the full $395 cost now (which includes a non-returnable $100 booking deposit) OR just pay that deposit now and the remaining balance ($295) by 2 weeks before the course starts. Cancellation within 1 week of the course will incur a forfeit of the full course cost, but there may be the possible opportunity to reschedule dependent upon reason for cancellation, due time and course availability.
